JOB SUMMARY

Are you a social media expert with a passion for engaging audiences and driving brand awareness? We're looking for a talented Social Media Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive social media strategy across all our brands and products. With 4-6 years of experience in social marketing, particularly in online or fashion retail, you'll have the opportunity to shape our brand voice and connect with our target audiences of dancers and dance teachers/studio owners.


As the Social Media Manager, you'll collaborate with our Integrated Marketing Manager and Creative team to develop creative briefs, manage content calendars, and oversee organic and paid content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and more. You'll also play a key role in our Influencer Marketing program, managing relationships, developing campaign briefs, and analyzing performance metrics to ensure success. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and manages a comprehensive social media strategy that defines how social marketing techniques will be applied to increase engagement, awareness and traffic across all social platforms, brands and products
  • Develops a consistent brand voice that connects with our target audiences (dancers and dance teachers/studio owners) and facilitates their interaction with our content and brands
  • In partnership with the Integrated Marketing Manager and Creative, assists in developing creative briefs, communication workflows and manages social media creative requests
  • Manages the organic and paid content calendar and strategy for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn
  • Collaborates with Creative, Studio and Freelancers to develop engaging social video content
  • Owns the Influencer Marketing program strategy, including acquiring and maintaining relationships, seeking and vetting new talent, distributing products, developing campaign briefs, collecting content and providing feedback
  • Manages the social marketing budget including paid advertising, promoted posts, influencer campaigns and products, platforms, third-party vendors and media resources
  • Manages all social platforms and tools such as Sprout Social, Olapic, Creator Deck, Soundstripe, Rakuten and Pixlee to help streamline and optimize workflow.
  • Analyzes key performance indicators and implements enterprise-level measurement, analytics and reporting methods to gauge success
  • Manage the Social Media Coordinator on all social marketing related responsibilities, share feedback and approvals on all tasks and communicate daily to ensure timelines and expectations are being met
  • Manages special content-related projects for Weissman and Dancewear Solutions such as brand personality content, video trends, photographer tests, etc.
  • Follows organization-wide social media management standards, policies and rules for social media

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, eCommerce or related field


Experience Qualifications

4-6 years in Social Marketing, preferably with an online or fashion retailer


Skills and Abilities

7+ years of competitive dance background

Genuine passion and interest for social media and social trends

Demonstrates creativity and sparkling with conceptual ideas that will engage social audiences
